Disney themeparks are full of surprises. You can literally turn a corner and find yourself listening and interacting with Jim, the Ragtime Pianist. His piano has a mirror on it allowing Jim to interact with guests as he plays tunes from the turn of the 20th century. He even interacts with you like it was still the early 1900’s.

For those who may not be aware, I write a weekly photography blog for AllEars.net, one of the most popular Walt Disney World planning websites on the Internet. There, I shared more photographs of Jim, the Ragtime Pianist.

Fall Colors at Fillmore Glen State Park Photo Tour

It is the most wonderful time of year for outdoor photographers in upstate New York. Autumn has arrived and the fall colors are starting to show. In a couple of weeks, some areas are going to be close to peak colors. With that in mind, Phil Sptize of CAMERA-ED.COM and I will be hosting a photo teaching tour at Fillmore Glen State Park in Moravia, New York.

I am really excited about this as I have only been to this park during the summer. I hope you will join Phil and I and other photographers as we photograph the colors and waterfalls of Fillmore Glen State Park.

At Walt Disney World, holiday time gets stretched out from a few days to a few weeks. At the Magic Kingdom, it is already Halloween with special events and lots of decorations starting with the entrance.  For those who have been here, you know how hard it is to get a people free photo of this location. I waited and waited for other guests to take their photos and finally walked up and got a few images without them.

On this trip, I rented a Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 lens for my Nikon D750 camera. Look for a review soon.

Ever feel like you are at a crossroads in your life? I wonder if this couple was thinking that as they paused in front of the Crossroads of the World souvenir shop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida.

Spent the last week at Walt Disney World and will have a few more photos to share over the next month. You can not wait, right? 🙂
