My daughter has a lasting friendship with her high school French teacher. Madame is also a big fan of Walt Disney World. Last year, we all meet up at Epcot and, before we parted, I photographed them with the France pavilion in the background.

This is a good example of telling a story in a photograph.
Many years ago I was a French teacher at a private elementary school. One of my students from that time is now working towards her PhD at Harvard. What an honor it was to work with such a brilliant girl. Our student-teacher relationship led to a wonderful friendship between her mom and me. Bonds between students and teachers can be incredibly rewarding in so many ways for both the student and the teacher.
