View 126: Blue Eyes

This little boy was at a family picnic I attended last week.  When photographing children, putting them on a chair can help to keep them in one place for a few minutes.  Long enough to get a portrait…sometimes. 🙂

Blue eyed little boy.

A lovely portrait of a wonderful little boy,- with very very blue eyes. I´m noticing that you have captured the skin tones very well. The chair-trick is a good idea, perhaps in combination with the big black mysterious box you were hiding behind.

  5. I think I overdid the eyes here. I used Aperture 3’s new saturation brush for the first time. I learned last night while taking the FREE CreativeLIVE webinar on Apeture 3 presented by Scott Bourne how to adjust the brush adjustment.

I’ve posted the new photo of the lad on flickr (click here to see it).
