Living close to one of the Great Lakes has it’s photographic rewards. Living on one of them yields daily rewards for the people lucky enough to do so and the birds who share it with them.

Fantastic color in the windows. I imagine the light was intense.

Light on water . . . Even inland the light is different near the Lakes. I never tire of it. Last night I was down on the beach hoping for a glimpse of the Space Station as it went by. I missed that, but had instead a rose and smoke glow over the Leelanau with that deep blue evening sky curved around it. Your Lake House captures it all very well.

Love that lake Ontario. I don’t know why the great lakes don’t get more press.
