One of my first weekly views from 2008 featured Paul Harris of the Syracuse University Orange Men’s basketball team. Since then, he has become the most searched person on my blog. He still lags behind those people looking for the answer of why birds stand on one leg. π To help those people looking for more Paul Harris photos, I made it a point to take a few pictures of him today before the Big East game between Syracuse and Georgetown which SU won 98-94 in overtime. Enjoy!

Mysterious are the ways of googlers. Milk haulers/tow trucks are more interesting to visitors to my site than any of the carefully crafted pieces about what a lovely place we are to visit . . .
Note: Paul Harris is an important historical figure in Rotary International/Rotary clubs. Wonder how many visitors are searching for him rather than for the Syracuse roundball phenom. OK, probably not many. Look at that FOCUS! (His, not yours. Though yours is pretty darned good too.)

Gerry, didn’t know that about the Paul Harris and Rotary Club link. Most searches that include Paul Harris that hit my blog also have SU or Syracuse basketball with it. None so far have put in Rotary Club with the name. So far. π
Yeah, it’s amazing what searches are logged to our blogs, isn’t it?

Scott,
We had commented back and forth on our blogs last week, but then I came across this post. I went up to Syracuse for this game this past weekend. I’m an SU alum and was able to get up to Syracuse for the day on Saturday for the first time in a few years. It was an exciting (and ridiculous) game. I’m looking forward to seeing your shots from the Dome.

Brad…hey, small world as they say. Oy, yeah, the game should not have even been close to OT. Let’s hope this game taught them how to win again and they’ll finish out the season and Big East tournament strong. Injuries and some questionable refereeing have hampered them some of late.
Burstmode…I hear ya. ;;-)
