Arabian Horse

The first horse show of the season has ended. A weekend of long days preparing and competing in classes with other riders showing their Arabian steeds. My daughter, riding Klyde, handled herself elegantly as other riders whirled about the show ring with her. For his part, Klyde kept an alert and keen eye to his task.

After the class was over, Klyde was thanked by his rider and given a treat of yummy applesauce for a job well done.

Nice photos Scott. We have a race track in Portland but I think it’s closed now. They race in the winter here. I always forget to go because it just doesn’t occur to me to stand out in the cold wet weather to watch a race!

I bet you’d get some nice moody photos if you did, Barrie. 🙂
