In the last decade, Canadian Geese have gone from a symbol of nature to a nuisance species as they have learned to take advantage of Man’s suburban lifestyle. A recent trip to the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge shows how these beautiful and magnificent creatures live in the natural environment of a large marsh.

    Scott,
    I agree with you for sure the Canada Goose is a magnificent bird, just because it has become common place should not diminish our respect.
    I’m planning to shoot some shots of a pair of Geese that recently arrived on the beaver pond by my house. However unlike lucky you my longest lens is the 18-200mm. I’m going to have to do a lot of sneaking around. I liked your slide show.
