Are you a Disney fan who loves photography, too? If you are, you should join me at Pixelmania 2011 being held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida from October 20 thru 23, 2011.
Photographers and Disney make a wonderful mix of fun, learning, good times and their own kind of magic. I attended the first Pixelmania back in 2009 and hosted one of the photography events about How to Do Panning at the Magic Kingdom. Other events included fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, exploring World Showcase, a photo scavenger hunt game, special VIP seating for the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guided photowalks around the trails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and meeting and learning from new friends who also enjoy photographing at Disney.
This year there are plans to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to photograph the parade, fireworks and to enjoy the rest of the party in the Magic Kingdom. Other meets, fun and surprises are sure to be included.

Oh, boy…
This is simply cruel and unusual punishment for us Mommies who have been squelching our adventurous spirits in favor of raising families!!! Now, what I would really love to do is sneak away from the KIDS and hop a plane with my husband to attend this event! We would have to tell the kids that we were going on some “boring” couples retreat in Canada or something. 😀 Think they’d buy it??? Oh, what a marvelous sneaky fun secret that would be! I don’t think Zan and I would be able to stop giggling in anticipation from August onward. *tee*hee*

Ha! My kids are most definitely running the place!!! LOL. Not that I’ll ever let THEM know that! They somehow still think Zan and I are “in charge.” 🙂
Well, I will tell you that the thought of being that far away from them for three whole nights terrifies me. However, I will also tell you that I am going to give it some serious consideration. 🙂
