This past weekend, I took a road trip to Niagara Falls, New York to visit Niagara Falls State Park. As many times as I have visited Niagara Falls, it was alway the Canadian city. This was my first time to go to the New York park.

From Canada, the American Falls look very straight. From the Prospect Point viewing area, one can see the undulating edges as the water flows over and down the 167 foot (50 meters) drop. It is no wonder Nikola Tesla saw the potential of the power of the falls.
