Thanks, Michaela! I know it is hard to tell without a reference but the water is very high. Normally, there would have been lots of boats around but the canal had not opened yet to allow them access.

You can view them on flickr under Actions/View Exif Info. There you find I used a Nikon D700 camera and the exposure was 15 seconds, f/16, ISO 200, EV 0 with a focal length of 16mm. In the tags for the photo, you would see I used a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 DX lens. If you assumed I used a tripod, you would be right. 🙂
