I’ve been getting a bit impatient for Nature to supply some color here in upstate New York. I went out looking for it at the Central New York Regional Market and hit the mother lode. Hope this brightens up your Monday.

Wow, that first one is BRIGHT! (If you print it, will it glow in the dark? 😉 )
Love the pink callas.

Is just might glow in the dark at that! 🙂 I was trying to capture not just the color of the lilies but their textures, too. How’d I do?

You did great, although I would have preferred a tighter crop or different angle, to eliminate the sign.
I think you would have had some real fun with a macro lens 😉

Good idea…added a cropped version at the bottom.

Nice color, Scott. I like the tomatoes. They look vibrant and almost unreal.

Thanks, Linda. Buda’s had those tomatoes all spiffed up for their customers. People were snatching them up.

It absolutely did, and it was certainly needed. Gray sky today, rain is comming soon. Yesterday was Palm sunday, the easter holiday have started for all schools.
I think I like the lillies most, a very clear and optimistic picture.

Are those HDR tomatoes???? They POP! 🙂
Thanks for sharing color…not much of that yet. With the rain we’re getting now and the warmth we’re supposed to get come the weekend, I think color will be on it’s way! 🙂

Heck with it. I’m going over to Pine Hill Nursery tomorrow to see if they have some of those yellow daisies. The crop of the lilies was a very good idea.

Nice to have some colour brought into our lives.
When looking at them the word that came into my mind was “white balance” – with those colours my D40 would get confused 🙂

Neat shots, Scott. They’re all great but I like the googily eyes and lilies cropped best. That book above this post also sounds good.
